Routing Website Leads to Shared WhatsApp & Telegram Groups

Learn how to route website form submissions simultaneously to your entire sales team, agency staff, or client partners in WhatsApp and Telegram.

💬 1. WhatsApp Group Chat Setup

Step 1: Create a WhatsApp Group

Open WhatsApp → Create a new group named "🔥 Website Leads" and add your sales team members.

Step 2: Add Your Meta WhatsApp Business Number

Add your Meta WhatsApp Business Phone Number to the group as a participant and promote it to Group Admin.

Step 3: Copy Your Group ID

Open WhatsApp Web (web.whatsapp.com) → Click on the group chat. Copy the Group ID from the URL: [email protected]

Step 4: Save in LeadChirp Dashboard

In your LeadChirp Workspace Settings, paste your Group ID under Recipient Phone Number and click Save.

Step 1: Create a Telegram Group

Open Telegram → Create a group named "🔥 Lead Alerts" and add your sales reps or agency partners.

Step 2: Add Your Bot to the Group

Add @LeadChirpBot (or your custom `@BotFather` bot) to the group and enable Send Messages permission.

Step 3: Paste Group Chat ID

Paste your Telegram Group Chat ID (e.g. -100192837465) into LeadChirp Workspace Settings.

Have multiple sales teams or distinct webforms (e.g. UK Sales, US Sales, and Emergency Repairs)? Here is how to route each form to its specific WhatsApp/Telegram Group Chat:

Step 1: Generate Separate API Keys in LeadChirp

In your LeadChirp Workspace, click + Generate API Key for each team or department (e.g. lc_live_uk_sales, lc_live_us_sales, lc_live_emergency).

Step 2: Assign Group Chat IDs to Each Key

Set Group Chat 1 ID for Key 1 (UK Reps), Group Chat 2 ID for Key 2 (US Reps), and Group Chat 3 ID for Key 3 (Emergency Reps).

Step 3: Embed Corresponding Endpoint URLs
